Iskra Wind has recently been renamed Evance and the company has just launched the Evance Iskra R9000, the latest and most advanced version of their small wind turbine.
![]() | Evance wind turbines are the most efficient, cost-effective small wind turbines available. Designed as nature intended, their turbines work with the wind to capture more energy at lower wind speeds. The result is quiet, more efficient operation. Their design goes beyond simple ergonomics to guarantee your turbine makes an elegant addition to any surroundings, rather than an eyesore. |

With energy prices set to rise year-on-year, your Evance Iskra R9000 wind turbine delivers savings from the word go. Not only will it help reduce C02 emissions, once it’s paid for itself it will provide free energy for the rest of its working life. Its robust construction means it can withstand the force of wind speeds greater than 130mph. And with a 20-year, low maintenance life span they are designed to go the distance.
Segen has installed numerous Evance wind turbines across the country and you can see where these are by looking at our Installations Map web page, from where you can see further details and pictures of each installation, or browse our case studies on our Downloads page.
Shown below are just some of the installed Evance turbines across the UK.

You may also purchase an optional wireless display to show the energy being generated by your Evance turbine. The Sunny Beam is easy to use and displays your system's performance data in large, easy to read formats. The Sunny Beam provides a constant flow of data keeping you informed of your system's status without the need to go outside. Wireless technology combined with sleek design makes the Sunny Beam a welcome addition to any home.
For more advanced requirements an Internet connected WebBox is available that allows energy generation data to be automatically captured and uploaded to SMA's SunnyPortal web site for long term viewing, and optionally sharing with others.
