Solis S6 Portfolio Update
Everything you need to know about the Solis S6 Series.
The Solis S6 series of grid-tied, hybrid, and AC inverters have been stealthily populating the Segen customer portal product pages over the last few months without any fanfare or pomp.
Yet these cost-effective devices with first-class reliability need to be addressed with the attention they deserve!
Also, it would be remiss if we didn’t bring your attention to the finer details, the particular set of skills, and unique selling points of the S6 devices that solar professionals and system owners will love!
Energy Storage Essentials
Let’s start with storage; the three-phase hybrid range packs a punch with the 50kW hybrid which has all the power and flexibility you need – it’s just arrived in stock and will be followed by 30kW and 40kW units in Jan 2025.
Your mid-range power is covered with the 12kW, 15Kw and 20kW models that feature 4 MPPTs, 10 second 200% surge power backup overload capability, and have automatic UPS switching. Also in stock.
Smaller but packing no less of a punch the 5-10kW 3Ph devices have impressive 200% DC input oversizing. They also have increased battery protection that extends battery life, and again, automatic UPS switching.

AC Coupled Devices
Dubbed a flexible energy enhancer the new S6 AC Coupled inverter is an effortless upgrade to existing grid-tied systems. It offers 6 customizable charge/discharge periods and has wide compatibility with various battery brands. You can also remotely access the technology using the SolisCloud app.
Single-Phase S6 String Inverters
Residential single-phase inverter needs are met wholly with the affordable Mini and the Dual MPPT GR1P, both with unique selling points and both in stock now.
The S6 Mini powers up from 0.7kW to the not-so-mini-3.6kW with all sizes in between. It’s compact and lightweight, has a wide voltage range, low startup voltage and is just perfect for new-build.
Single-phase installations that require dual string input should opt for the S6 GR1P inverter which has 2 MPPTs and precise MPPT algorithms, like the Mini, this range is lightweight and compact for easy installation – additionally it has an integrated zero export power control function.
We hope that’s brought you up to date with the S6 series. If you want to learn more then book into the Academy and get hands-on in the Solis booth!
