Clever forecasting, over 20 years of experience in renewable energy has given our team the ability to ensure we have all the stock you need, when you want it, so you can complete your projects on time.

Yes, you can find everything online 24/7 – there’s a wealth of information on the Segen customer portal from brochures, datasheets, product specifications, installation manuals, warranty documents, guides, design tools and configurators. Live stock levels, quotes and account information, invoices and design tools, the portal has it all!

Also, Segen customers are assigned dedicated team members to assist with everything they need. There’s a Sales Manager who has a huge amount of product and industry knowledge, and the Order Processor who handles the logistics of the deliveries and makes sure they go smoothly. There’s a Technical Support Engineer on hand to help with any before, during, and post installation enquiries, and for any finance enquiries there’s an expert on hand to keep accounts on track.

There are warranties available on all Segen products, and you can find out more and download warranty documents on the customer portal product pages.

Often free extended warranties are available if products are registered online with manufacturers but also, extended warranties are available to purchase from Segen or the manufacturer directly, offering peace of mind to installer and system owner.

Yes, you can collect orders from our warehouse in Medway, Kent in the southeast of England. Whatever size it might be from a set of stickers to a container of modules.

Tesla GATEWAY 2 AC Connection Box

Powerwall 3 and Powerwall 2 must be installed with the gateway.

AC Connection

The gateway can disconnect both 1PH (100A) and 3PH (80A) grid connections. Once in backup mode the system will provide only 1PH Backup to the property.

Modularity

You can connect and control up to 10 Powerwall to a single gateway

Connectivity

The gateway has Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Cellular (LTE/4G) internet connection methods available

Warranty

10 year warranty as standard on all components with Tesla Powerwall

 

The gateway comes with 1 x 100a Solar CT Clamp. If you need to measure 3PH Solar you will need additional solar CT clamps which can be purchased here TES-S-CT-100

 

Please be aware that only Tesla certified installers are eligible to purchase Tesla products

Tesla Approval Process

  • Installer must be MCS certified and accredited with RECC or HEIS
  • Apply to be a Tesla Certified Installer directly with Tesla using the link below.
  • Tesla will review your application and if suitable you will be sent a contract and NDA to sign.
  • Once returned this will be countersigned by Tesla. Once countersigned you will be Tesla certified and can begin marketing the Tesla products.
  • Upon confirmation from Tesla, Segen will make products live for you to view and order through the Segen Portal.

You cannot install and commission a system until training is completed.

This is a connection box with its accessories only. It requires Tesla Powerwall battery and separate Powerwall Accessory Box to work.
 
Effective from April 1st 2023 Tesla will no longer be supplying fuses and fuse holders as part of the gateway kit. These fuses are mandatory to ensure that the installation is capable of withstanding a 16kA short circuit and you are therefore expected to procure and install these fuses for all future installations
  • For a 1ph installation you will require 1 x 100A fuse
  • For a 3ph installation you will require 3 x 80A fuse
